Captain Thomas Abbey Memorial Rededication

The Penelope Terry Abbey Chapter of the Daughters of the American Revolution invites the community to the rededication of the restored Captain Thomas Abbey Memorial. Abbey is remembered for beating his drum to alert Enfield residents of the start of the Revolutionary War in 1775. A meaningful piece of local history, freshly preserved for future generations.
