One of Connecticut's most unique traditions returns for its 204th year — the Enfield Society for the Detection of Thieves and Robbers holds its annual dinner at the Elks Lodge. Founded in 1823, this historic social club keeps alive a quirky piece of Enfield's past. Membership is still just $1 for life.
